Claritev (CTEV) said Monday it has not been informed by the Department of Justice that Claritev is the target of an investigation, in response to a Thursday media article stating that the DOJ has launched a criminal probe into the company.
In August 2024, Claritev received a confidential grand jury subpoena issued by DOJ's Antitrust Division regarding an investigation about health insurance and has been cooperating fully with the DOJ, the company said in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Shares of the company were up 18% in Monday trading.
