Ralliant (RAL) said Monday its Pacific Scientific Energetics Materials Company unit received a $27.3 million investment from the US Department of Defense under the Defense Production Act Title III program.
The company said the funding will help expand production of the universal Arm Fire Device, a safety component used in solid rocket motors, and increase manufacturing capacity for high-volume defense programs.
The investment is part of broader Pentagon efforts to strengthen the solid rocket motor supply chain, reduce shortages, and shorten production lead times for critical missile and defense systems, it added.
