Market Chatter: Apple Ordered to Cooperate With Indian Antitrust Probe

MT Newswires Live16:38

Apple (AAPL) has been ordered by an Indian court to "fully cooperate" with investigators in a probe of whether the company violated antitrust rules in its app market for the iPhone, Reuters reported Monday, citing a Delhi High Court ruling.

The court rejected the company's request to delay the probe while it challenges the Indian law governing antitrust penalties, the report said.

Apple has denied wrongdoing and has challenged the investigation, the report said.

Apple and the Delhi High Court did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
