China Mining International (SGX:BHD) booked a profit attributable to equity holders of 3.5 million yuan in the 15 months ended March 31, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the mining and agriculture company zoomed nearly 16% in Monday trading.
The company reported earnings per share of 0.0063 yuan and revenue of 1.9 million yuan.
China Mining International decided to report a 15-month financial result after changing its financial year-end to June 30 from Dec. 31.
For the previous financial year ended Dec. 31, 2024, the company posted an attributable loss of 56.7 million yuan and a loss per share of 0.1389 yuan.
