Shares of AmpliTech Group rose after the company said it received certifications for its indoor 5G Native Distributed Antenna System Solution in the U.S. and Canada.

Shares were up 13% to $4.52 in pre-market trading on Wednesday. The stock closed Tuesday up 7.8% at $3.99, having gained 33% this year.

The company said Wednesday that it received certifications from the Federal Communications Commission and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada for the system, which provides indoor 5G connectivity services.

"With both U.S. and Canadian certifications secured, AmpliTech is cleared for immediate commercial sale, shipment, and network integration across the North American market," the company said.

Chief Executive Officer Fawad Maqbool said the certification will enable partners to immediately deploy full-scale indoor 5G networks.

The company has also received orders for the product suite from a North American mobile network operator end customer, said Maqbool, who also serves as chief technical officer.
