0808 GMT - ESG remains paramount for Swiss companies despite the "ESG fatigue" that dominates discourse in the U.S., Vontobel writes in a note. Structural drivers for ESG remain, including tighter disclosure rules, climate transition financing needs and growing expectations for credible ESG commitments. "In our view, companies with sound frameworks are better positioned to access capital and talent, manage transition risks, and capture opportunities for climate solutions," Vontobel says. Its ESG ranking of Swiss companies includes Geberit in the top spot, followed by SGS, Swiss Re, Zurich Insurance Group, Swisscom, Adecco, Belimo, Logitech, Nestle, ABB, Flughafen Zurich, and Givaudan. According to Vontobel, SGS and Nestle stand out as notable gainers thanks to governance improvements. (sarah.sloat@wsj.com)
