Metawater (TYO:9551) declared a final dividend of 35 yen per share for the fiscal year ended March 31, matching earlier forecasts and also higher than the 26 yen paid a year ago.
The water purification plant operator's total dividend payment amounts to 1.53 billion yen, payable from retained earnings on June 4, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
The company's basic policy targets a consolidated dividend payout ratio of 30% to 40%.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, Metawater forecasts full-year dividends of 80 yen per share, consisting of an interim dividend of 40 yen and a year-end dividend of 40 yen.
