Amazon.com-backed (AMZN) Anthropic has hired Andrej Karpathy, the former Tesla (TSLA) employee said Tuesday.
"I think the next few years at the frontier of [large language models] will be especially formative," Karpathy said in a post on social media platform X. "I am very excited to join the team here and get back to [research and development]."
Amazon has invested billions into Anthropic.
