MS&AD Insurance Group's Net Income Rises 14% in Fiscal Year

MS&AD Insurance Group (TYO:8725) net income attributable to owners of the parent climbed 14% to 787.3 billion yen for the fiscal year 2025 from 691.7 billion yen a year earlier.

The insurer's net income per share increased to 528.80 yen from 445.45 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.

Ordinary income jumped 15% to 7.653 trillion yen for the period ended March 31 from 6.661 trillion yen in the prior year.

In a separate disclosure, the insurer raised its final dividend to 82.50 yen per share, from the initially planned 77.50 yen per share, payable from June 23.

For the fiscal year 2026, the company expects attributable net income of 425 billion yen and basic EPS of 292.91 yen.

MS&AD plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 85 yen per share for each payout, which is higher than the dividends declared in the year-ago period.
