Major digital assets were weaker Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) lower but holding above the $76,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, dipped 0.1% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 fell 0.7%, the S&P 500 declined 0.8%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.7%.
Bitcoin fell 0.1% to $76,743, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 34.8% to $28.07 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, dropped 0.6% to $2,111.
XRP (XRP-USD) shed 2.2%, BNB (BNB-USD) lost 0.7%, and Solana (SOL-USD) decreased 0.8%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) fell 1.4%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) declined 0.9%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.664% at 3 p.m. ET Tuesday, up from 4.621% Monday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.325% from 4.280%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry fell 0.3% in the past 24 hours to $2.56 trillion, with trading volume dropping 0.3% to $154.93 billion.
