Celanese Raises Prices on Some Engineered Materials Products

Celanese announced a series of price increases for certain engineered materials products, which will take place on June 1 or as contracts allow.

The price increase comes in response to a number of factors, including recent market developments and global supply chain disruptions, the chemical and specialty materials company said.

Prices for certain products will increase across the company's Asian, American and EMEA markets. Brands affected include Zytel, Frianyl, Crastin, Celanex, and Santoprene, among others, the company said.

Earlier this month, the company announced price increases across its acetyl chain.
