Benz Mining (ASX:BNZ) said widespread tungsten mineralization was confirmed across the entire 12 kilometers of the Glenburgh mineralized corridor within the mining lease in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Elevated tungsten concentrations were observed via routine inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry analysis, closely associated with gold mineralization across the entire system, per the filing.
A high-grade gold intercept of 79 meters at 4.4 grams per tonne grade of gold from 534 meters contained internal tungsten intervals of 26 meters at 0.2% grade of tungsten oxide, the company said.
Benz Mining's shares fell nearly 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
