Major digital assets rose Thursday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holding above the $77,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 3.4% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 gained 0.2%, the S&P 500 climbed up 0.2%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 0.6%.
Bitcoin edged up 0.1% to $77,592, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume increased 8.7% to $28.02 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, added 0.3% to $2,142.
XRP (XRP-USD) rose 0.5%, BNB (BNB-USD) gained 1.1%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 1.6%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) increased 1.3%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) was up 0.7%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.582% at 3 p.m. ET Thursday, up from 4.568% Wednesday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.253% from 4.221%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 0.2% in the past 24 hours to $2.59 trillion, with trading volume gaining 0.3% to $157.25 billion.
