ASML Clients Will Have to Adopt High NA EUV Systems -- Market Talk
Dow Jones05-22
0943 GMT - ASML Holding's clients will need to turn to the Dutch company's high numerical aperture extreme ultraviolet lithography systems as semiconductors become more complex, Bank of America's Didier Scemama writes in a research note. The machines represent an important lever for a client like Intel to scale up, Scemama says after hosting Sam Sivakumar, former director of lithography at Intel. "The expert expressed confidence in adoption being ultimately inevitable as the industry continues to scale," Scemama says. ASML shares trade 2.9% higher at 1,384 euros. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
