Telus Targets About One-Third of Capital Budget For Ontario Upgrades -- Market Talk

0740 ET - Telus is earmarking about a third of its capital expense budget to Ontario over the next five years. The Canadian telco says it is investing more than C$24 billion to improve its network infrastructure and operations across the province, including extending its fiber and 5G networks and building out AI-related infrastructure. The investment is part of the company's broader C$66 billion deployment, which also includes C$15 billion in British Columbia. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
