SpaceX laid out all of its connected transactions with Tesla, including that it bought $131 million of Cybertrucks from Tesla in 2025 at the "manufacturer's suggested retail price." The SpaceX prospectus provided the first glimpse of the dollar figures for payments to Musk's other companies. In 2025, SpaceX also purchased $506 million of Megapack energy storage products from Tesla. Payments were made on terms that were similar to those available from third parties, the filing said.

Other cooperation between the companies includes a collaboration on a massive chip factory called Terafab and on an AI project called Macrohard, the filing said.

In total, Tesla is mentioned 87 times in the SpaceX prospectus, including this outlook: "We plan to explore other areas of strategic collaboration with Tesla in the future."
