0732 GMT - AJ Bell's strong first-half results act as a testament to its diversified revenue model and imply a 4% to 6% consensus upgrade for FY 2026, RBC Capital Markets analysts Ben Bathurst and Jude Neanor say. The investment platform's guidance upgrade and higher anticipated revenue margins enable increased investment in the second half, but with higher profitability. Cost growth is now guided at 19% versus consensus of 13%, with margins expected to be over 40%, up from a previous 39% to 40% expectation, RBC says. "The decision to once again increase investment in brand in 2H is eye-catching, but is supported by the strong recent traction in terms of customer growth, in our view," the analysts say in a note. Shares are up 11% at 593.50 pence. (anthony.orunagoriainoff@dowjones.com)
