Bayzed Health Unit Partners With MicroPort Units on Smart Healthcare Services

Bayzed Health's (HKG:2609) wholly owned unit, Bayzed Medical Investment, entered into cooperation agreements with units of MicroPort Scientific (HKG:0853) to collaborate on smart medical services, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of Bayzed were down nearly 2% in Thursday morning trade, while MicroPort Scientific was up over 1%.

Bayzed Medical Investment Group signed agreements with Shanghai Weichuang Weilian Weitong Health Management and Shanghai Mingyue Medical Technology, both of which are units of MicroPort Scientific.

The parties will cooperate on supplying high-value medical consumables and integrated healthcare solutions to hospitals under Bayzed Health, the filing said.

The companies also plan to jointly establish cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diagnosis and treatment centers, as well as endoscopic and orthopedic surgical robot centers.
