Xanadu Quantum Technologies (XNDU) made an algorithmic breakthrough in quantum read-only memory that is expected to reduce the number of expensive quantum operations by around twofold, the company said Thursday.
The innovation helps overcome hardware challenges in large quantum computers "that lowers the resource requirements for quantum applications," the company said.
Shares of the company were up 3% in recent premarket trading.
