China Medical System's (HKG:0867, SGX:8A8) said China's National Medical Products Administration approved clinical trials of its self-developed TYK2 inhibitor CMS-D001 for ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The company said CMS-D001 is being developed for inflammatory bowel disease indications, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, and may also be developed for autoimmune conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus in the future.
