Market Chatter: COSCO Shipping Vessel Passes Through Hormuz Amid Limits to Oil Traffic

MT Newswires Live05-28

A ship registered to COSCO Shipping (HKG:1919, SHA:601919) crossed through the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, Reuters reported Thursday, citing live shiping data.

Ships passing through the strait have become a rarity due to the war in Iran.

COSCO's Hua Lin Wan was carrying oil products as it crossed the strait, the report said, citing satellite data from analytics specialists SynMax.

Since May 13, two other COSCO tankers have passed through the strait, Reuters said.
