LG Energy Signs KRW2.4 Trillion Supply Contract for ESS Batteries with Michigan-based DTE Energy

LG Energy Solution (KRX:373220) signed a supply contract for energy storage system (ESS) batteries totaling 6 gigawatt-hour with Michigan-based integrated energy company DTE Energy, according to a Thursday release.

The supply contract, which has a period of about two years, is valued at 2.4 trillion won.

Under the supply contract, DTE Energy will move forward with eight major power grid projects, including infrastructure for Oracle's new AI data center in Saline Township, Michigan, the release said.

Shares of LG Energy Solution jumped more than 15% at market close.
