Top cryptocurrencies were mixed on Wednesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) falling below the $75,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, fell 0.3% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 fell 0.1%, the S&P 500 added 0.1%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.4%.
Bitcoin fell 1.2% to $74,895, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 8.9% to $31.96 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, fell 0.7% to $2,055.
XRP (XRP-USD) rose 0.1%, BNB (BNB-USD) shed 0.4%, and Solana (SOL-USD) gained 0.4%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) rose 1.2%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) gained 0.7%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.477% at 3 p.m. ET Wednesday, down from 4.491% Tuesday, while the five-year yield fell to 4.172% from 4.183%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry fell 0.8% in the past 24 hours to $2.52 trillion, with trading volume declining 9.2% to $84.47 billion.
