Taseko Mines Proposes Name Change to Trekor Metals

Taseko Mines said its board is proposing to change the company name to Trekor Metals.

The Canadian miner said that the new name is meant to reflect its growing business and expanded asset base in North America.

"Our journey will continue as Trekor, a name that embodies our values and reflects our ambition to continue to grow North America's copper sector," Chief Executive Stuart McDonald said.
