Tutor Perini's management services subsidiary received an $81.8 million contract from the U.S. Coast Guard to design and build family housing at a base in Alaska.

The construction company said Wednesday the project calls for constructing 30 family housing units, 20 with three bedrooms and 10 with four bedrooms. The houses will be in 15 duplex configurations.

The project includes demolition, utilities, roads, sidewalks and other site improvements, Tutor Perini said. It also includes replacement of the existing 653,800-gallon Aviation Hill water storage tank.

Work is expected to start immediately with substantial completion slated for November 2028.

The contract value will be added to Tutor Perini's backlog in the second quarter.
