Gogo (GOGO) said Thursday that Airshare will equip its Embraer Phenom 300 fleet with the Gogo Galileo HDX in-flight connectivity system.

The company said the Galileo system, powered by the Eutelsat OneWeb low-Earth-orbit satellite network, provides high-speed, low-latency internet for passengers and crew, enabling streaming, video calls, browsing and other data-heavy applications during flights.

Airshare selected the system after a test flight, during which the system transferred more than 16GB of data in an hour while supporting simultaneous video streaming and conferencing, with 23 devices connected across 10 users, according to Gogo.

Gogo said installations will begin this month at Airshare's facility in Kansas.

Shares of Gogo were down more than 6% in premarket activity Thursday.
