EDAP TMS (EDAP) said Friday it will operate under the name FocalTherics and change the Nasdaq ticker symbol for its American depositary shares to FOCL, effective June 1, to reflect its focus on robotic focal therapy.
The company said it will classify its legacy extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and distribution businesses as discontinued operations starting with its Q2 results.
The company said its legal name will remain EDAP TMS until shareholders approve a formal name change at a future meeting.
