Market Chatter: Tesla Strike in Sweden Partially Scaled Back by IF Metall

MT Newswires Live05-29 18:35

Tesla's (TSLA) long-running labor strike in Sweden has been scaled back, with union IF Metall ending walkouts at workshops in Malmo and Uppsala, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing Dagens Industri.

IF Metall's dispute with Tesla began in 2023 over a collective bargaining agreement.

The broader strike continues across Sweden, with support actions from Nordic labor groups disrupting vehicle servicing, ports, and logistics, Bloomberg added.

Tesla did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
