Somnigroup International (SGI) said Thursday the mandatory 30-day waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act for its planned merger with Leggett & Platt (LEG) has expired.
The end of the antitrust review period marks an important regulatory milestone for the deal, which is expected to close by the end of 2026, the company added.
