Koninklijke Philips (PHG) and WellSpan Health said Thursday that they have entered into a seven-year partnership focused on research, innovation, and the deployment of advanced imaging and diagnostic technologies across WellSpan's network.
Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
The partnership includes a research agreement to evaluate new AI and digital health tools aimed at improving workflow efficiency, patient throughput, and costs, the companies said.
Under the deal, Philips will become WellSpan's preferred supplier of imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI systems, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and image-guided therapy technologies, the companies said.
The agreement covers all 12 WellSpan hospitals, as well as its imaging and ambulatory surgery centers, the companies said.
