NextDecade has named John Zuklic, previously the chief financial officer of Citgo Petroleum, to be its finance chief.

The natural gas liquefaction infrastructure company said Wednesday that Zuklic will come on board in early July. He has served as CFO of Citgo since 2020, and worked before that at Phillips 66 for much of his career.

"John is an experienced strategic and operational leader, with a strong track record of guiding large energy infrastructure companies through growth and transformation," Chief Executive Matt Schatzman said.

Zuklic takes over for Mike Mott, who has been serving as interim CFO and will return to his previous role as senior vice president of enterprise transformation.
