Stocks to Watch: GameStop, GitLab, NRx Pharmaceuticals, Xos

GameStop reported a higher first-quarter profit and announced a $2 billion stock buyback authorization. Shares rose 6.5% to $22.28 in after-hours trading on Tuesday.

GitLab said it would cut about 14% of its staff as part of a pivot toward artificial-intelligence. The stock fell 5.5% to $30.08 after the bell.

NRx Pharmaceuticals proposed a public stock offering. Shares fell 20% to $3.70.

Xos said it planned to launch a new series of power systems to support artificial-intelligence data-center energy needs. The stock surged 125% to $5.01.
