UroGen Pharma (URGN) said Tuesday it has reached a settlement and licensing agreement with Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA) resolving patent litigation related to Teva's proposed generic version of Jelmyto, the company's treatment for low-grade upper tract urothelial cancer.

Under the agreement, UroGen said it will grant Teva a non-exclusive license to market a generic version of Jelmyto starting Sept. 15, 2030, subject to FDA approval.

The companies will also seek dismissal of the ongoing patent lawsuit with prejudice, according to a statement.

Financial terms of the settlement and license agreement were not disclosed.
