Delta Electronics (TPE:2308) plans to begin small-volume shipments of its 800V high-voltage direct current (HVDC) architecture to Nvidia next quarter as the system moves into the verification stage, Taipei Times reported Thursday, citing the vice president of the power and system business group, Ares Chen.
The 800V HVDC platform is expected to be deployed first in NVIDIA data centers before a broader rollout to other customers, depending on AI infrastructure demand. Delta is also ready for mass production and is developing a ±400V architecture, which has already completed verification Chen told the news outlet.
The company said demand for liquid cooling remains strong, with capacity set to expand over 50% this year, and a shift toward liquid-to-liquid systems expected next year, the news outlet said.
