Amazon-Backed Anthropic's Mythos Accessible to European Union

Amazon (AMZN)-backed Anthropic's Mythos AI model is now accessible to the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity ahead of its release, the agency confirmed Wednesday in an emailed response to MT Newswires.

"Our priority now is to continue working with Anthropic to agree on the terms and conditions of the future access," the agency said.

The agency added that a "new wave" of powerful AI tools is coming to the market and it is in discussions related to other "Frontier" AI models.

Mythos is an AI model capable of identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in operating systems and web browsers, Anthropic said in April.
