Guangzhou Automobile Group or GAC's (HKG:2238, SHA:601238) total sales jumped 8.2% to 127,330 units in May from 117,698 units a year ago, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Production for the month slipped 4.6% to 122,675 units from 128,570 units in the prior year.
For the first five months of 2026, sales and output climbed 3.8% and 0.5% year over year to 628,219 vehicles and 651,372 units, respectively.
