Hello Group (MOMO) reported Q1 non-GAAP net income Tuesday of 2.05 Chinese renminbi ($0.30) per American depositary share, down from 2.34 renminbi a year earlier.
An analyst polled by FactSet expected 1.56 renminbi.
Net revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $2.39 billion, compared with $2.52 billion a year earlier.
Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 2.35 billion renminbi.
For Q2, the company expects total net revenue of 2.45 billion renminbi to 2.55 billion renminbi. An analyst polled by FactSet expects 2.47 billion.
Shares of the company were up 3.3% in Tuesday premarket activity.
