Gold price consolidations are healthy, but they can make some amateur gold investors feel nervous or even depressed. 4. The good news is that while a lot more sideways price action likely lies ahead, the next big move is likely to be up towards the top of the range.5. The rally could potentially see gold make a new high before there’s one final dip back towards the lower end of the range at $4000-$3500.6.
