Array Digital Infrastructure will pay an $11 special dividend after selling a portion of its spectrum licenses to Verizon for $1 billion.
The communications infrastructure provider said Monday the transaction, and related spectrum sales to T-Mobile totaling $168 million, were part of a strategy to monetize its existing spectrum licenses after selling its wireless operation to T-Mobile in 2025.
"We have made significant progress in our spectrum monetization efforts and are pleased with the value realized in this sale," Chief Executive Officer Anthony Carlson said. "Further, as we have done with prior asset sale proceeds, we are returning value to our shareholders in the form of a special dividend."
The dividend will be paid on June 25 to shareholders of record as of June 11.
The company said it doesn't expect to pay additional dividends this year.
