Shares of ZipRecruiter gained after the job search platform said it would offer an artificial intelligence-driven feature to automate outreach from recruiters.
The stock climbed 20% to $3.89 on Monday. Shares are down 0.4% year to date.
The company said the feature, called Smart Outreach, uses AI to turn job descriptions into personalized messages sent to candidates, allowing hiring teams to cut down on time spent writing emails or manually following up.
The feature is designed to automate followups, sending up to three messages over time or until a candidate replies, the company said.
