Microchip Technology (MCHP) has projected its Data Center Solutions Business Unit will grow approximately 65% in calendar year 2026 to roughly $500 million, the company said Monday.
The unit, which makes products exclusively for data centers including storage controllers, PCIe switches, and memory controllers, posted 62.9% year-over-year revenue growth in the March 2026 quarter.
The company's broader data center and compute end market, which includes general-purpose catalog products, represents approximately 18% of total revenue, the company said.
Microchip also said it will implement selective price increases across its product portfolio due to broad-based input cost pressures, adding the increases will have no impact on guidance or results for the fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2026.
