Upcoming limited-time offers, marketing campaigns, a relaunched rewards program, pricing increases and operational improvements from new, high-efficiency equipment should all help drive an uptick in sales and transactions. Although affordability pressures are weighing on consumers, the company has competitive advantages in menu innovation, value and food quality. "Despite lingering macro challenges and brand questions, Chipotle's overall brand strength, still solid value scores, near to medium-term catalysts, and longer-term opportunities like catering, can support a return to positive transaction growth," the analysts say.
