Astera Labs Expands Taiwan Operations to Participate in Global AI Infrastructure Buildout

MT Newswires Live06-03

Astera Labs (ALAB) is expanding operations in Taiwan and the Cloud-Scale Interop Lab to increase its participation in the artificial intelligence infrastructure supply chain.

The move is expected to deepen the company's "engineering, operational footprint, and strategic coordination with customers and ecosystem partners in one of the world's most important semiconductor ecosystems," the company said late Tuesday.

In collaboration with AI platform providers such as Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Arm (ARM), Intel (INTC), Nvidia (NVDA), and Taiwan's original design manufacturers, Astera Labs plans to strengthen the validation and system integration work required to bring purpose-built AI infrastructure to market faster.

The expanded presence is expected to broaden cross-functional capabilities, helping customers reduce iteration cycles, the company said.
