Zhongji Innolight (SHE:300308) called the online article claiming to be its chair's speech at a 2026 Optical Interconnection Forum as "malicious false content."
The company said it has no knowledge of such an event and neither it nor its chair authored or delivered the alleged remarks, according to a Monday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Shares of the optical communications module and device maker declined 2% in recent trade.
