Market Chatter: Anthropic Eases Tensions With US Ahead of IPO

MT Newswires Live06-05

Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic is easing tensions with the US government ahead of its anticipated IPO, Reuters reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Anthropic and the US government's relations broke apart earlier this year in a dispute over how the Pentagon uses the Claude agent platform.

The Defense Department afterward listed the company as a supply-chain risk.

But ties have since improved even as Anthropic challenges the supply-chain risk designation in court, the report said.

Anthropic did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
