Xylem (XYL) said Monday it has signed an agreement with Dow (DOW) to design, build and operate water treatment and reuse systems at an industrial complex in Fort Saskatchewan.
The company said the project will support expanded operations linked to Dow's Path2Zero initiative and is expected to begin operating by August 2028.
Under the agreement, Xylem said it will manage the entire water system, including engineering, construction and long-term operations.
The company said it will treat raw water for industrial use and recycle water from industrial processes into reusable supplies.
