Vor Bio Partner Drug Earns Regulatory Approval In China For Sjogren's Disease

MT Newswires Live06-08

Vor Bio (VOR) and RemeGen said Monday China's National Medicinal Products Administration approved telitacicept to treat adults with Sjogren's disease.

The approval makes it the first authorized treatment for the condition in China. The approval followed RemeGen's phase 3 trial, which demonstrated significant improvements in patient symptoms and systemic disease activity, the company said.

RemeGen developed telitacicept to treat the chronic autoimmune condition, and Vor Bio maintains the sole rights to develop and market the therapy outside of Greater China, it added.

Shares of the company were up 1.1% in Monday premarket activity.
