Genco Shipping & Trading (GNK) said Monday that proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services has recommended that its shareholders vote for all of the company's director nominees.
ISS also recommended Genco shareholders vote against Diana Shipping's (DSX) nominees and proposals, the company said.
"On balance, the dissident's most recent offer does not appear to be a reasonable starting point for engagement," Genco quoted the proxy advisory firm as saying.
Diana did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
