Skillz (SKLZ) said Monday that it intends to change its corporate name to Firy Inc. on June 18 and expects its Class A shares to begin trading under the ticker symbol "FIRY" on the New York Stock Exchange on June 22.
The company, a mobile games platform, said shareholders do not need to take any action in connection with the name and ticker change.
Skillz shares were more than 8% higher in Monday trading.
