Cellectis (CLLS) said Thursday that data from a phase 1 trial of lasme-cel in relapsed/refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, or r/r B-ALL, reflected strong response and remission rates.
The study included 45 patients with r/r B-ALL who had received at least three prior lines of therapy. Of these, 15 patients received the recommended phase 2 dose, and seven were in the target phase 2 population, the company said.
In the target phase 2 population, lasme-cel showed an overall response rate of 100%, with 57% achieving complete remission or complete remission with incomplete count recovery. Of these, 75% achieved minimal residual disease negativity, and all patients proceeded to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the company said.
The company also shared preliminary data from the NATHALI-01 study evaluating eti-cel, a therapy for relapsed/refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Results show that, in the optimal dose group, overall response rate and complete response were 88% and 63%, respectively.
